Family holidays in Maranza – Leisure fun in the mountains of South Tyrol

The farm Samerhof and the holiday house Carpe Diem in the South Tyrolean village of Maranza are the perfect locations for a fun-filled family holiday in the mountains of South Tyrol. The roomy holiday apartments at the farm and the spacious accommodation in the holiday house offer all family members plenty of space. In addition to varied hikes in the alpine region Gitschberg-Val Giovo and bike tours in the Pusteria Valley, many other activities await families with children. In Maranza there are a mini golf course and a tennis hall, offering different sporting activities. A special experience for children of all ages is a visit to the adventure pool “Alpinpool”. Several swimming pools, a water slide, a toddler pool and a hot tub will make everybody happy. We closely work together with the leisure pool – Therefore, the entry fee to the “Alpinpool” for our guests is only two Euro.

Lodge Wieserhütte – Family holidays on the alp

Our accommodation facilities in the holiday region Gitschberg-Val Giovo also include the lodge Wieserhütte in Altafossa Valley. The alpine lodge – located at an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level – with its three guest rooms is simply a perfect choice for an unforgettable family holiday on the alp. 2-3 persons find space in the cosy double rooms. Spend your holiday surrounded by nature – Starting directly from the lodge Wieserhütte you may embark on wonderful walks in the mountains. The lodge has its own cheese dairy, where many dairy products are made from our fresh milk. You may enjoy these natural products already in the morning for breakfast at the lodge Wieserhütte. Outside there is a playground for our youngest guests, and the pristine mountain landscape offers another huge adventure playground right outside the front door.
