Wieserhütte – Alpine lodge with cheese dairy

In 2005, the host Simon Fischnaller took over the operation at the lodge Wieserhütte. In the same year, the new dairy farm was built, where our fresh alpine milk is turned into various products. During your holiday in South Tyrol you may accompany the host at work and take a look behind the scenes of our cheese factory. Mountain cheese, grey cheese, herb cheese, pepper cheese, cream cheese and ricotta are among the fresh natural products that are produced in the alpine dairy. You are welcome to taste all the savoury cheese specialities. Besides the delicious cheese varieties, we also produce mountain butter, buttermilk and yogurt from the milk of our cows. All products you can, of course, be purchased locally.
